Our guide, Austin was enjoyable, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to be with. We also did the badlands tour with him which was great too. Carrie was so helpful setting up the tours and giving us advice. We had a good time and I would highly recommend using Black Hills Adventure Tours.

We booked a private day tour through Carrie for our first day in Black Hills. We had booked another private tour for the following day with another tour service. Four days before the tour scheduled for the 2nd day, the tour guide cancelled without any options or explanation. When Carrie found out about this, she worked to provide us a tour for us on the 2nd day on short notice. Both days we had Mickey as our guide. She did an excellent job. It was very informative and packed with a lot of fun and interesting things to experience and see. I can't begin to thank Carrie and Mickey enough for their excellent service. I highly recommend Black Hills Private Tours to everyone.

At our request, this tour started at 1 PM and took us to Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore in that order so that we could view the night lighting activities at Mt. Rushmore. Our driver/guide Denny was delightful, full of facts and stories. Very helpful and responsive to requests. Everything was provided. All needs met. This was the first of four day tours we took with Black Hills Adventure Tours on this trip. This company knows how to make a trip to the this region of South Dakota most enjoyable. Highly recommended.

This tour involved Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park. Our guide, Mickey Higgins, did a superb job in showing us these attractions. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. She did everything in a timely manner and helped my wife who had mobility problem to fully enjoy the tour. Because of her we were able to see many animals, bison, prairie dogs, etc. The tour was excellent. She also helped us taking photos.

This 8 hour private van tour was absolutely wonderful. The guides Rich and his wife Vicki were fantastic. Full of knowledge about the area. It provided a great way to see the area. I would highly recommend the tour and specifically these guides

We visited Rapid City in mid-September, and had four tours with Black Hills Adventure tours. Our driver/guide was well informed and friendly. Pace of the tours was excellent, and there were appropriate food and rest room breaks. Their tour of the Battle of Little Bighorn was supurb, and it was my favorite of all that we did. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is interested in this part of our world.

We spent a week in the Black Hills and this tour was the highlight of our trip! We saw things we would have never experienced without his insight. Our guide, Mark, was informative, interesting and really fun. Recommend this tour highly!

Obviously seeing Mt Rushmore is a must. We saw it at night AND the day. Hiser chief Crazy Horse. We were on a two day tour with Black Hills Adventure Tours. Karen was our guide. Great knowledge and a lot of “back stories”.

Best day ever! This was an amazing tour that we will always remember. Mark was our tour guide. He is experienced, knowledgeable, warm and fun. He showed us the beauty and hospitality of South Dakota. We fell in love with South Dakota because of Mark. Don’t hesitate to take this tour. You will be blessed with wonderful memories!
