The story telling was pretty terrible. Our guide was all over the place and really hard to follow. Four people actually walked off before it was over. I kind of felt the same way.

Renee was our guide and she was engaging and knowledgeable. She delivered information about the Garden District that made the area come alive and her stories helped you retain the information. Her knew of plants, architecture, and history. The walk wasn’t too strenuous and the time flew by. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful tour with the owner of the company. Luckily for us we were the only folks on the tour, but she went ahead with it anyway! We asked a lot of questions and she was very knowledgeable and patient. You can tell she was an absolute authority on the Garden District. Highly recommend!

Walking around with Renee was a fun experience. It is like going with a history book of New Orleans. She knows every fact about the city and the homes around the Garden District. It was a personalized experience and I would recommend over some of the bigger tours.

Learned many interesting facts that are specific to the New Orleans area, especially pertaining to the garden district. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the architecture of the homes/years built, and also on the different prominent residents throughout the centuries; (Including some in the cemetery). I highly recommend this tour, James was very informative, and answered all our questions in an enjoyable manner, and was “full” of wonderful stories. Great walking tour!

This was a great tour - Renee was our tour guide. Renee connected with us before the day of the tour to make sure we knew where to meet up. Renee did a great job answering all questions and had a lot of local knowledge. Highly recommend doing a walking tour of the garden district.

Our favorite part of the experience was learning about the history of how the Garden District was developed, and also the way a Union General's wife decorated the house they occupied during the Civil War.
