Please contact us 24 hours before the start of the tour in order to get your exact pickup time.

We can pick you up from an address inside the city limits of Fairbanks or North Pole. However, we cannot pick up from the airport under any circumstance.

If you are staying outside the city limits, we can pick you up at Walmart.

If you are at an address which is not specified by us, but inside the city limits, we may be able to pick you up from there. Just give us a call at our office with the address at least 48 hours before your tour.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience.

Sadly, we did not see the aurora, but the tour leaders were very good and the Aurora Lodge was a great place for conversation and viewing.

Last night 01/28/22 ,My sister and I were skeptical if we would be able to see the aurora because we’re only here for one night but we were lucky and Jake,our tour guide is knowledgeable,polite and friendly.He is making sure everyone will not miss anything by taking time driving to the spot so we can enjoy viewing the active aurora after the cozy lodge close.We didn’t feel rush like other tours.He also explained about Fairbanks history and dropped us off at hotel safely. All the staffs at the lodge are friendly with the complimentary photo service (tips are welcome) We had the best experience here.Thank you!

We can view the aurora with cozy and warm lodge to rest .The tour guide”Jake” was very informative and friendly.He really want us to see the northern light by taking time to drive different spot after the lodge closed so we don’t miss anything.We’re here for only one night but it’s very worth if you’re in Fairbanks.Totally recommend! We had such a great time here.

This was a great tour!! We were picked up at 10, and shuttled to a hidden gem of a lodge for viewing. We were not there long until our guide and Aurora sighter, Angie, told us the lights were beginning. It was amazing!!! Angie and the house host did everything possible to make our trip was perfect. We could not have asked for better accommodations to warm by and enjoy as we warmed and went back out to shoot video and pics. The whole experience was delightful!! The photos don’t do it justice!! I wish I could post my video!!

The guide was very nice and knowledgeable; however, the tour itself was too long and frankly quite boring. The advertisement would give one the impression that this tour is quite popular. But we ended up with 3 people going on the Murphy Dome tour instead. The aurora were at best OK (not the company's fault of course), but all the extra driving around got old quickly.

Very good experience. Highly recommended. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and a very friendly guy. We went to the lodge at a very good location, about 20-30 minutes from Fairbanks. Our guide notified us whenever there was Aurora visibility in the sky.

Our guide was awesome and punctual in picking us up. She was careful in making sure we were safe when stepping on and off the van. Viewing it from the lodge was a great idea given it was 0 and a few degrees below through the night. We got to meet others who were also waiting for the northern lights. There were hot drinks and snacks available. The chairs that we sat on to wait were so comfortable. Most of us fell asleep at some points waiting. Guides were helpful on camera settings too!

It was amazing! We got to see the Aurora on our first night in Fairbanks. Jake is a very awesome tour guide. He is very friendly. The lodge is very nice and warm. They have bathrooms too. Also They provided some hot tea, coffee, cocoa and cookies.

Our guide Lexi picked us up right on time. We made the short trip to the Aurora viewing lodge providing us her brief back story and providing details of the lodge we were going to. In addition to our van, the owner of the lodge generally has a few invited guests. The lodge is not very large but there was enough seating for everyone should all of the guests decide to be inside at the same time. There is an unobstructed view of the northern sky making it an ideal viewing spot for the northern lights. The sky was clear the evening we went to the lodge but unfortunately Mother Nature was a little stingy with the light show. But we did get to see some small displays of the northern lights. The lodge closes promptly at 2:00AM and you make your way back to your hotel. Our guide Lexi was fun and entertaining and we enjoyed our time. Anyone looking for a shorter, more relaxing light viewing tour should enjoy this one. Alaska Wildlife Guide is a very good company to book with.
